Band Camp!
Band camp is Aug. 15 for Newbie Day, and Aug. 18-22 for the full band, color guard, and dance team.
There is a meeting for all band parents and new members on Tuesday night, Aug. 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the high school.
Please make sure you attend this meeting, we will give out a lot of information about camp and the marching season.
Physicals!
Please make sure you have a physical examination from your doctor before band camp. You cannot participate without a physical form. You can download a copy to bring to your doctor.

T-shirt design!
The 2008 SHSMB t-shirt design is complete. Please ensure you come to the meeting on Aug. 5 to give your shirt size. Shirts are included in the band camp fees; we wear the shirt during our performance on Friday night, Aug. 22.

2008 Field Show
The theme for the 2008 field show is "Guitar Hero". The songs for the show are taken from the popular video game series. Songs are:

SHSMB takes Washington!
The Secaucus High School Marching Band travelled to Washington, DC on July 2 to perform in the National Independence Day Parade on July 4. The band spent three triumphant days visiting historical sites, marching down Constitution Ave. (link to youtube video), and becoming the Band Family, including "new members" Jane and Buddy.

Cacophony!
Cacophony, the Secaucus Percussion Ensemble, performed its 11th show, Past, Present, and Future on Thursday night, June 12. Opening the show were the bands Arctaurus and As Our City Burns, and the Clarendon School Rock Band, under the direction of Sean Sonnett and Susan Redvanly. Bamboozled!
Secaucus High School Marching Band marches with Say Anything at Bamboozle, opening two-day concert at Giants Stadium
The band performed Saturday morning, May 3 at the Bamboozle Pep Rally and Parade of Nothing. Members of the band Say Anything let the marching band, dance team, and color guard through the crowds waiting to enter the event. The SHSMB played before and after Say Anything's set outside Giants Stadium, and took photos with the band the performance.
All those that performed received complimentary tickets to both Saturday and Sunday's shows, as well as tickets to the Friday night Hoodwink "secret show".

Giants Stadium!
Our biggest performance of the year is at Giants Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1:09 p.m. Report time is 9:30 a.m. Bring formal and informal uniforms, water, and lunch.
